Membership Agreement:

Aboriginal Curatorial Collective Membership Agreement: I understand that membership in the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective / Collectif des Conservateurs Autchtones (ACC/CCA) is open to new and established Aboriginal curators and arts professionals. Aboriginal is hereby defined as First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples of Canada as recognized in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and international indigenous peoples as defined in the ACC/CCA bylaws. The ACC/CCA supports, promotes and advocates on behalf of the work of Aboriginal art and cultural curators and associated Aboriginal cultural workers in Canada and internationally. By applying for membership in the ACC/CCA, I agree to the following:
1. To actively participate, providing funding and availability permitting, in periodic meetings, conferences, round tables and other activities that help to achieve the objects of the ACC/CCA
2. To follow all established ACC/CCA bylaws, policies and guidelines while participating as an ACC/CCA member in events, programming and activities;
3. To respect other ACC/CCA member’s ideas and proposals and to offer my own ideas and proposals while participating and working on meetings, conferences, round tables and projects with the ACC/CCA;
4. To be courteous and respectful to all members of the ACC/CCA including invited guests and observers; and
5. To conduct myself in a professional manner while participating and attending ACC/CCA activities.

Accord d’adhésion au Collectif des Conservateurs autochtones : Je comprends que l’adhésion au Collectif des Conservateurs autochtones/ Aboriginal Curatorial Collective (ACC/CCA) est ouverte aux conservateurs, commissaires et professionnels des arts autochtones, émergents et établis. Le terme autochtone ici employé inclus les Premières Nations, les Inuits et Métis du Canada tel que reconnu par la Charte canadienne des Droits et Libertés, de même que les peuples indigènes internationaux tels que définis dans les lois internes du CCA/ACC. Le CCA / ACC appuie, promeut et défend les intérêts des commissaires, conservateurs, artistes et critiques autochtones, de même que des représentants d’organismes artistiques autochtones au Canada et à l’étranger. En faisant une demande pour devenir membre du CCA/ACC, je suis d’accord avec ce qui suit :
Je vais participer, si le financement et mes disponibilités le permettent, aux réunions périodiques, conférences, tables rondes et autres activités qui contribuent aux objectifs du CCA/ACC.
Je vais respecter les lois internes, politiques et ligne directrices établies par le CCA/ACC lorsque je participe, comme membre du CCA/ACC, aux événements, programmes et activités du Collectif.
Je vais respecter les idées des autres membres du CCA/ACC et je vais offrir mes propres idées quand je participe aux réunions, conférences, tables rondes, et tout autre projet du Collectif.
Je serai poli et respectueux envers les membres du CCA/ACC incluant les invités et observateurs.
Je serai poli et professionnel en participant aux activités du CCA/ACC.
