The ACC/CCA Colloquium series has served as one of the primary means of creating links between Aboriginal artists and curators and diverse institutions and organizations. Since the initial Round Table discussion in Ottawa (2005), as described on the About page, the ACC/CCA has produced a number of successful national colloquiums.

The year, location and some additional information from each Colloquium is listed below. As this website grows, we hope to add more information for each event. Please check back for updates.

Kwä̀n Mày Dáyè Dàátthʼi (Sit by the fire with us – Ensemble autour du feu) in Whitehorse, YT will focus on North and South coming together to share and exchange ideas about Indigenous curatorial practices, cultural production and art-making.

Iakwé:iahre [we remember] at Concordia University in Montréal focused on the active and collaborative act of remembering as applied to the contemporary idea of an archive from an Indigenous perspective. The Colloquium brought together curators and artists to listen, share and discuss the creation of a Living Archive for Aboriginal Art so that we all may remember.
